Yoga teacher in Fulham

Charlotte Carnegie is a yoga teacher based in Fulham, West London. She teaches yoga according to the tradition of Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. This is a non-prescriptive, holistic approach to yoga, where adaptation to the needs and abilities of the student is fundamental and asana (physical postures) is only one of the many tools available. There is no "typical" class, just as there is no "typical" student. She is not a professional musician (yet!) but loves music of many kinds and its meaning and potential in our lives. She is a member of The British Wheel of Yoga, the main governing body for yoga in the UK, and of The Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation based in Chennai, India.

He trained with Denis Matthews then Ryszard Bakst, at the Royal Northern College of Music in, where he won the Elizabeth Hannah Lees Scholarship and the Frederick Dawson Prize, He looked destined to follow the typical career of a classical pianist but instead, broadened his musical experience, making music in different genres, producing, recording and teaching in innovative ways. He works to find ways of making music that are natural, powerful and accessible and teaches a radical method that champions fluency and empowerment. Phil has studied and practiced Buddhism and meditation for many years.
